Udai Vilas Palace is situated on the Brahmapuri island on the western bank
of Lake Pichola. Now converted into a beautiful hotel, this palace offers an
exclusive view of the entire old city and the mesmerizing lake. The approach
towards the hotel by the boat is simply breathtaking. Just a kilometer away
from the Keoladeo Ghana National Park, which is a home to about 370
varieties of birds, Udai Vilas Palace is surrounded by lush greenery.
The Udai Vilas Palace is situated and spreads in an area of 30 acres of
beautiful gardens lined up with decorative fountains and pavilions. The
palace is a classic example of the architectural skills of the Mewar
dynasty. The palace took nearly ten years to complete and served as a
hunting resort for the royal family.
