Slovenia Tourist Attractions
Triglav National Park
The Triglav National Park (TNP) is the only national park in Slovenia.
Named after Triglav, the highest mountain in the heart of the park and also
the highest summit in Slovenia (2864 m). The park has all the high mountain
crests, peaks and glacier valleys and also has two forested plateaus,
Pokljuka and Meakla & also the Bohinj lake. There are several
smaller high-mountain glacier lakes and two of the longest rivers in
Slovenia, Soèa and Sava, rise in the park.
Ljubljana
Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, is a central European city that lies
between the Alps and the Adriatic Sea in a basin where the Ljubljanica river
flows into the Sava. Being the capital, it has all the modern facilities,
yet has preserved its small-town friendliness and relaxed atmosphere. It is
a vibrant city that is full of surprises.
Piran
Piran, known as the coastal jewel is an old seaport located at the terminus
of Piran peninsula with a medieval pattern. Flourished with Venetian
architecture, it is a place where you can relish seafood at the waterfront
restaurants. One can also plunge into the Adriatic, which is shadowed by a
tremendous hilltop church.
Lake Bled Slovenia
One of the major attractions of Slovenia, Lake Bled encloses a neo-gothic
Parish Church with its elegant Bled Castle and interesting frescoes. It is
blessed with natural richness like thermal springs and myriad of
recreational possibilities from casino to golf courses, you could hardly
resist the temptation.
Mysterious Karst
Mysterious Karst has two faces one above and another under its
surface and exhibit springs, karst windows, sinkholes, karren and beneath
the surface lies umpteen potholes and karst caves. The Karst takes you to a
beautiful part of this underground world.

Museums of Slovenia are equally popular; the most famous amongst them are
the National Museum, Museum of Architecture, Natural History Museum,
National Technical Museum, First World War Museum and The Ethnographic
Museum. The international Center of Graphic Art is a significant Slovenian
art gallery along with National Galley.
