Amber fort is situated in the picturesque land of Amber
(Jaipur). In 1592, the construction of this fort was started by Raja Man
Singh I, but its current form was completed during the reign of Raja Jai
The Jaigarh Fort is located at a distance of 15
kilometers from Jaipur and is one of the three hill top fort that overlooks
Nahargarh Fort is the first of the three forts built
by Maharaja Jai Sawai Singh of Jaipur. The term "Nahargarh" refers
to "the Abode of Tigers"
Located in Bikaner, Junagarh Fort is a magnificent
fort and one of the finest of Rajput monuments.
Earlier called the Chintamani fort, the beautiful
Mehrangarh Fort is one of largest forts in India, located in the picturesque
city of Jodhpur.
Chittaurgarh Fort, initially called Chitrakot, is
a living testimony of the heroic deeds of the valorous Rajput nobles and
sacrifices of the beautiful queens.
Jaisalmer Fort is the second oldest fort in
Rajasthan. Two hundred and fifty feet tall, this fort stands at the top of
80m high Trikuta hill. The outer wall of the palace, house and temples are
made of soft yellow sandstone.
Located at a distance of around 39 km from Kota,
Taragarh Fort was the home of a major princely state during the Rajput's
heydays. Located in the Nagpahari of Aravalli ranges, this fort is of
immense archaeological and historical importance.
