and Jenny Liardet visited India for the fifth time in January/February 2007.
As usual, all the arrangements made by Namaste Tours worked perfectly. This
was a tour of Tamil Nadu and Kerala by car across the peninsula from Chennai
to Kochi, visiting many of the famous Hindu temples of the region, seeking
out the splendid Chola bronzes at Chennai and Tanjore, visiting some of the
Christian sites and churches of the region, eating well and seeing many
things from tea gardens to wild elephants. We will have to come back yet
again".
Dear Bala,
I got home safely this morning to be greeted by snow and a temperature of 2
degrees Centigrade - rather different from Delhi.
Delhi International Airport was another interesting Indian experience. As
you rightly predicted, it took 3 hours to finally reach the departure lounge
!
Thank you and all your team for arranging such an enjoyable tour for me and
Helen in India. It really was a memorable experience for us both and your
arrangements could not have been more efficient - everything worked like
clockwork. I will have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Namasate
Tours to my friends or indeed anyone I meet who is contemplating a visit to
your country.

Dear Mr Balasubramanyan,
I am writing on behalf of my wife and myself, to express our extreme
pleasure with the service provided by your company, and in particular Mr
Amitabh Singh, during our recent visit to India.
From the moment we arrived in Delhi, to the moment we entered the airport
to depart for home, we were treated like royalty. Mr Singh took tremendous
care of us throughout our tour, regularly checking to ensure everything went
smoothly. We were very grateful for his assistance in boarding our train,
and even more delighted to see him appear by our side on our arrival back in
Delhi. Being taken to dinner was a lovely surprise.
Our tour did indeed exceed our expectations. The tour itself was well
organized and we were very happy with our accommodation, transport and
guides. I would also like to express our great satisfaction with our driver
throughout Rajasthan, Rajeesh, who also took wonderful care of us and drove
in such a manner that at no time were we ever even mildly concerned about
Indian roads or traffic. ( I believe this is most unusual and it seems we
were very lucky to have such a driver, given some of the stories we heard
from other travellers!).
We are both singing the praises of India as a destination, and Namaste
Tours as a travel agent to all our friends and colleagues. Thank you for
providing us with a wonderful experience. You are indeed fortunate to have
someone of Mr Singh’s calibre representing your company and we look
forward to dealing with him again for our next Indian holiday.

Dear Bala...
Thank you so much for your kind message and for Joans Birthday Wishes. We
were so thrilled to hear from you knowing all is well with you and your
family. We are well and still sport the tans we aquired in Kerala....was it
7 weeks ago we arrived home? We have just completed putting our photograph
album together of our truly wonderful trip. It's the envy of many. We tell
all our friends "Go to India! and we know a man who will look after you".
Please remember Bala there is a place for you and your family in our home
at any time. If during your visit to Europe you find your way to the UK
please contact us - we would dearly like to meet up with you and your family
or talk to you over the phone. Meanwhile look after yourselves and thank you
once more for thinking of us....

How
lovely to return home and find the two photographs in our e-mail. We look at
them often and remember the wonderful welcome from Deepa, our very first
Indian Chai, the tremendous trouble you were all taking to get the changes
made to our itinerary in such a short time. We loved the Business Class trip
to Guwahati - a nice bit of luxury for us!
Everything went so well during all our trip. In each place your
representatives, your guides, your drivers were faultless in their services
and when we left we felt that we had made a whole lot of new friends.
I gave your phone number to a Vancouver friend, Mrs Shirley Cutts, who may
be calling you when she arrives in Delhi. Apparently she has already
pre-arranged all her accommodation (in guest houses) but I told her how
important it was to have someone at the airport and to arrange guided tours.
I just wish we had more time between our visit and hers (she left for Kerala
today) , as I told her that the arrangements you made for us were absolutely
the best way for people of our age to travel.
We will be in touch with our travel agent here so that he may recommend
your services to any future clients who would like a custom-made tour of
India.
Again, thank you to everyone in your office for all the hard work. From
Prasant's smiling face at Delhi airport to Yolanda's farewell at Kolkata
airport we felt we were being "cherished" as well as being looked
after. What a gift to give to visitors.

Dear fellow travelers,
I recently returned from a
wonderful journey through many parts of India and Nepal. My experience with
Namaste Tours is a very positive memory from my travels. It is often
quite challenging to understand and make one's way through the logistics of
arranging transportation, planning where to go, finding good accomodations
and services in a foreign country. To have this all go smoothly can make the
difference between having a pleasant experience or a difficult one.
Bala and Rajeev of Namaste Tours were a real
blessing to work with. They have personal knowledge of so many aspects of a
great variety of places to visit. Every time I went with their
recommendations, I was very grateful because it was always the best choice.
They listen to one's particular interests and tailor the trip according to
that design. The service that they provided went way beyond just what was
needed. If a personal need arose for some item, a service or individual
errands to handle, they made time and effort to make sure that was handled.
I often felt like I was being cared for like family, not just a business
client. I truly established a friendship that will continue for many years
to come. If any close family member or friend would be traveling to India, I
would tell them to use Namaste without hesitation knowing that they would be
well taken care of.
Certainly my next journey to India will start with a call to Bala and
Rajeev.
